May: Caped Crusaders.
Superman has nothing on your little man.
Wonderwoman may have an invisible helicopter, but has she seen your Fly Girl in action?
A benefit for the Ronald Mc Donald House, your super-kid can try out his super-power of creativity, and make his very own fashion-forward customized cape for any crime-fighting he might be called upon to do. Giant craft tables with loads of supplies, light food and more! Although this is a supersized Babesta x-treme playdate, we only have room for 75 children, so reserve your spot now and support this amazing cause!
Portrait photographer Christopher Auger-Domínguez will be on site to photograph the super kids in their alter ego outfits flying high above Gotham in their capes - with a little help from camera magic.
Fashion Fantasy Game will give kids a chance to make capes online too, a fun way to practice their craft before getting out the glue!
Food by Murray's Cheeses. Milk, Juice and White Wine will also be served.
MAY 22, 4:00-6:00PM at Tribeca Cinema Gallery. 54 Varick Street (entrance on Canal). $25/cape. Proceeds donated to Ronald McDonald House.
After making the cape, your child will be all set to whiz up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Superhero exhibit, that started May 7, and celebrates the fashionable frocks in which the caped crusaders we all know and love keep the streets safe from nefarious ne'er-do-wells.
