First Impression: Snoozi Bassinet by Stokke

We have a new bassinet on the floor and it's definitely turning heads of our pregnant customers. Meet the Snoozi by Stokke. 

Stylish

First of all, it's pretty. A simple, elegant and very Scandi design, the Snoozi feels light on the floor of your nursery.

It's ample size bassinet made with breathable fabric in either graphite grey or sandy beige (though it looks more champagne to me!). The lightweight aluminum frame is graphite colored on the grey/black model and reads as a blush of a rose gold on the champagne model, making it spot-on trend-wise. 

The legs are made of a high quality natural beech.

Sensible

The Snoozi is made of lightweight materials, weighing in at 16.1 pounds. It's very portable which is convenient if you want your baby closer to you when they take an afternoon nap. 

When you purchase you get the bassinet and mattress. Buy separately the travel bag, protection sheet, and fitted sheets. 

Safe

We love all the use of innovative 3D breathable mesh, including the firm and breathable mattress. Although light, the frame is very sturdy. 

Grow With Me

The niftiest thing about the new bed for babies is that it's not as short-lived as bassinets tend to be. Generally speaking, when a baby hits 4-6 months and can push up on their arms or start to roll, you have to take them out of the bassinet and into a crib. 

But this clever bassinet has a feature where the base can be lowered (so there are two mattress heights) allowing baby extra time snoozing in the Snoozi.

This is especially convenient, as the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that baby sleeps with you for at least six months and ideally a year. 

The Snoozi gives 9 months of slumber to little ones, which is a perfect amount of time for the getting to know you, eat around the clock phase!
