First Impressions: Joolz Aer+ Lightweight Stroller

We understand the category is getting crowded, but nonetheless, we heard our clients asking for another option when it comes to lightweight travel strollers. After we saw it in person, we knew why.

At Babesta we try to look for products that are meaningfully different in a category, doing something that none of the other choices are doing. The new Joolz Aer+ is certainly doing it differently!

First of all, the fold is like butter. It’s soooo easy. One handed, no muss, no fuss. And it not only folds with the seat, but also with the bassinet, which is awesome. That and the bassinet itself is pretty awesome. It has structure and feels safe and secure for your new little bundle!

Besides this, the engineers at Joolz have a nifty little pocket in the back of the seat - the perfect spot to slip a wallet, keys or phone.

There is a full canopy and a nice reclining seat that puts your child into a comfy position for relaxing. We love that it’s a zip-recline as it’s super simple to do even if the child is sitting in the seat.

Then there are the accessories. Joolz does a full range of accessories from footrests and belly bars to footmuffs, mosquito nets, car seat adapters, organizers, rain covers, cupholders, buggyboard (called footboard), and even an LED light for evening strolls. And don’t worry, if you’re on the go, it even comes with its own travel pouch.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the sustainability too: With the sale of each Joolz stroller, they plant a tree in Birth Forests in Asia, Africa, Europe or South America. The fabrics are sustainable and made from recycled plastic bottles.

Basically: we’re digging it! And we think you will too. For new-parents-to-be, this is definitely one to consider for the registry! We’ll do a more comprehensive review but we had to let you know ASAP so you can cruise on into the shop and check it out!
