Introducing the Rove Convertible Car Seat By UppaBaby

We are super excited to add the UppaBaby Rove to our line up! When we checked this convertible car seat out in May at the Baby Show we were impressed. It's easy to install and has all the bells and whistles. 

Here are some of the highlights!

Installation: One of the most important aspects of any car seat is how easy is it to install correctly. This one is a snap! It installs in seconds with an intuitive, 3-step, spring-loaded lock-off doors.

What's more, it features a SmartSecure system with a patent-pending tension indicator that provides a red-to-green visual confirmation signaling a tight installation. 

Weight: This isn't the most important thing in our book, as all car seats are heavy and not something you want to be carrying around (we suggest a wheeled bag) -- this being said, it's only 25.2 lbs.

Extended Rear Facing:  One of the key points when it comes to convertible seats is how long it can be rear facing. The bottom line is the longer the better. This is because in case of an accident, the seat will cradle and protect the child's head and neck. The Rove can be rear facing until your little one is not so little at all: 50lbs. Now a lot of parents say their child wants to be turned around before that. We get it, but the fact of the matter is, rear is safer, so do it while you can!

Convenience: The no rethread harness means easy adjustments.

All in all, we are liking this convertible seat. Kudos to our friends at Uppa for again making baby gear that's safe, convenient and stylish.
