The Stokke x MoMA Tripp Trapp Just Dropped!

Some pieces belong in a museum. This one belongs at your kitchen table.

The Stokke x MoMA Tripp Trapp® is a limited edition launching now, and Babesta is one of a handful of retailers selected to carry it. If you've had your eye on a Tripp Trapp, or you just love great design, this is the one to get.

A design icon, reimagined

Peter Opsvik's Tripp Trapp® is one of the most recognizable children's chairs ever made. For this collaboration, Stokke® and The Museum of Modern Art drew on MoMA's signature color palette to give it a playful twist.

The seat and footplate are reversible, so you can mix and match colors to create up to four distinct combinations. Switch it up when you rearrange the dining room, or when your little one decides they have a new favorite color.

The details make it a true collector's piece. Each chair carries a subtle Stokke® and MoMA engraving, along with Peter Opsvik's signature. It's designed to be lived with and loved every day, and to stay in the family long after the high chair years.

Why we love the Tripp Trapp for families

Beautiful design is only half the story. The Tripp Trapp® is one of the chairs we recommend most, because it brings your child right up to the dining table to share meals with the rest of the family.

Comfort and design

• Grows with your child. The seat and footplate both adjust, so your child gets proper back and foot support at every age.
• A stable footrest. Little feet stay supported, which helps kids sit comfortably through a whole meal.
• Built to last. Solid European beech wood holds up to 300 lbs (136 kg), so it works from toddler to big kid, and even for adults.
• Timeless. A classic shape that never goes out of style and fits any décor.

Safety and care

• Arrives with a guide to positioning the seat and footplate for your child's age.
• Optional extended gliders add stability toward the back.
• Spills wipe clean with a damp cloth.
• Water-based, non-toxic paint, free from bisphenols and phthalates.
• An extended 7-year warranty is available on the wooden parts.

Building the complete setup for a baby

The chair is $399. For babies, we recommend adding three pieces to make a complete high chair setup, for $662 in all.

Prefer baby at the table? The tray is optional. If you'd like your little one pulled right up to the dining table with everyone else, skip it. The setup without the tray is $583.

As your child grows, the Baby Set comes off and the Tripp Trapp® carries on as a regular chair for years to come.
