Nest Stop: Brooklyn / KAWS What Party?

If you haven’t seen it yet, hop on over to the Brooklyn Museum and catch KAWS What Party. Brooklyn based artist Brian Donnelly presents his hard to not love companion figures, that illicit nostalgia and empathy while nodding to consumer culture. You’ll see many X’ed out eyes, and slouched shoulders as he grapples with universal themes of friendship, love, loneliness and alienation. The show encompasses a range of work from graffiti drawings, notebooks, paintings, sculpture and collectibles. Because of the toy-cartoon nature of the work, the kids will be rapt with the work as well! #KAWSBKM
