What mattress does it take?

Standard crib size: 52" × 27.75". Babyletto recommends pairing with either the Pure by Babyletto hypoallergenic crib mattress line or the organic, MADESAFE certified crib mattress made in collaboration with Avocado. Both are available at Babesta — ask us what we currently carry.

How many mattress positions are there?

Four adjustable positions. Start at the highest for a newborn — the design makes it easy to place and lift a sleeping baby without strain. Lower the mattress as your baby learns to sit, pull up, and stand, maintaining a safe rail height at each stage.

What is the tambour paneling on the sides?

Tambour paneling is a design technique using narrow parallel slats or ridges to create a textured, rhythmic surface — in this case running along the sides of the crib.
