YOYO³ 6+ Riviera Collection Complete
by Stokke · Babesta Pick — Most Customizable Ultra-Lightweight Travel Stroller for NYC Families
Stokke Yoyo3 is the gold standard for ultra-compact travel strollers, and for good reason. At 14.8 lbs with a fold that meets cabin baggage standards, it goes from sidewalk to subway car to overhead bin without a second thought. It's suitable from 6 months out of the box, and with the Newborn Pack or a car seat adapter (both sold separately), it's birth-ready from day one. However you buy it, you're covered from the hospital to the airport.
The Riviera Collection is a limited edition canopy and seat pack, available in a blue and off-white stripe or an orange and white stripe, built on the same interchangeable Yoyo3 system. As a complete, it pairs the regular Yoyo3 frame with this special sun canopy, so if your style changes down the line, you can always swap to another canopy from Babesta's collection. For families packing for a beach trip or bringing some ease to a summer in the city, the Riviera Collection is the Yoyo3 in perfect summer vacation mode.

Best For/Not For
Best For
-
NYC families who want one stroller that handles the subway, the cab, and the flight without checking a bag
-
Frequent travelers: the cabin baggage compliant fold means gate-check or carry-on (confirm with your airline)
-
Parents who want a stroller that evolves with their style: swap the canopy for another Babesta special edition without buying a new frame
-
Walkup apartment dwellers who need something light enough to carry up stairs and compact enough to store in a hallway
-
Families starting from birth: add the Newborn Pack or a car seat adapter and you're set from day one
-
Design-forward parents who want a stroller with a genuine point of view, not just a utilitarian box on wheels
-
Summer travel and vacation mode: the striped canopy is built for beach trips, poolside afternoons, and warm-weather city days
-
Parents who want a distinctive, limited edition look without giving up the interchangeable Yoyo3 system
Not Ideal for
-
Jogging or rough terrain: this is a city and travel stroller, not a trail stroller
-
Families who need full-size ride quality for long daily park walks; consider pairing with a full-size stroller for those occasions
-
Parents who load the basket heavily on every outing; at 22 lbs capacity it's solid for this class, but not a full-size basket
-
Parents requiring a literal one-step fold
-
Newborns, without purchasing the Newborn Pack or a car seat adapter separately (the 6+ version ships seat-only)
-
Parents who want a guaranteed year-round restock: the Riviera Collection is a limited edition run, so ask Babesta about current availability
Is It Suitable for My Baby's Age?
Newborn (0–6 months)
Yes, with the right accessories. The 6+ version ships with the toddler seat; add the Yoyo3 Newborn Pack (sold separately) for a lie-flat newborn setup, or use a compatible car seat with an adapter (sold separately). Alternatively, the Yoyo3 0+ version ships with the Newborn Pack included, and you purchase the 6+ seat pack when your baby is ready. Either route gets you full birth-to-toddler coverage on the same frame.
Infant (6–12 months)
Yes. From 6 months the Yoyo3 6+ is ready to go as shipped. The multi-position reclining backrest, 5-point harness, and 4-wheel suspension handle this stage comfortably.
Toddler (1–4 years)
Yes. The upright seat, mesh strap protectors, zipped back pocket for snacks and essentials, and 48.5 lb weight limit carry comfortably through the toddler years and beyond.
Is It Good for NYC/City Use?
Yes. The Yoyo3 was built for exactly the kind of city life New York demands. The fold is fast enough to do one-handed at a turnstile, compact enough to store under a restaurant table, and cabin-compliant enough to take on a flight to visit family without paying to check it. The integrated shoulder strap means you can sling it hands-free on subway stairs. The 4-wheel Soft Drive™ suspension system handles cracked pavement and curb drops better than most strollers in this weight class.
Beyond that, it's restaurant-ready, with a handlebar that folds in so it doesn't get knocked by a passing server or guest. The UPF 50+ canopy is especially useful during peak summer sun, right when the striped print feels most at home.
Compared to the Joolz Aer2, the Yoyo3 is similar in weight (14.8 lbs vs. 14.3 lbs) but pulls ahead on customization and newborn flexibility. The interchangeable canopy system means you're not locked into one look for years, and the 0+ accessory path makes it easier to configure for a newborn without buying a separate bassinet stroller. For families who want their stroller to feel like theirs, not just functional but personal, the Yoyo3 is the one.

Why Babesta Carries It
We carry the Yoyo3 Riviera Collection because it captures something the ultra-compact stroller category rarely offers: a genuine seasonal, vacation mood. The blue and off-white stripe and the orange and white stripe both feel at home on a boardwalk or a poolside afternoon, and because it's a limited edition run, it's not a print you'll see on every stroller in the park.
Underneath the print, it's still the same Yoyo3 that earns its spot in our assortment on practical merit: 14.8 lbs, a cabin-compliant fold, and a birth-to-toddler accessory path. For a family packing for a summer trip, or just looking to bring some vacation energy to their daily walks, the Riviera Collection is an easy one for us to recommend, while supplies last.

Frequently Asked Questions
What print options does the Riviera Collection come in?
The Riviera Collection is a limited edition canopy and seat pack available in two stripe options: a blue and off-white stripe, or an orange and white stripe. Both use the same interchangeable Yoyo3 frame and system, so once the limited run sells through, availability may be limited. Ask our team for current stock.
Is the Riviera Collection a complete stroller or just a canopy?
It's a complete: the regular Yoyo3 frame paired with the Riviera Collection's special sun canopy and seat pack. It functions exactly like the standard Yoyo3, just with this seasonal, limited edition look.
Can I use this as my only stroller from birth?
Yes. With the Newborn Pack or a compatible car seat adapter (both sold separately), the Yoyo3 is birth-ready on the same frame. The 6+ version ships with the toddler seat, so you'd add the Newborn Pack for the early months. Alternatively, the 0+ version ships with the Newborn Pack and you purchase the 6+ seat pack when your baby is ready. Either way, one frame takes you from the hospital to pre-school.
What is the difference between the Yoyo3 6+ and the Yoyo3 0+?
They use the same frame. The 6+ ships with the toddler seat pack and is ready to use from 6 months; add the Newborn Pack separately for birth use. The 0+ ships with the Newborn Pack for birth use; add the 6+ seat pack separately when your baby is ready. The total investment is the same either way, it's just a question of which accessory you want in the box.
Can I change the canopy or seat pack?
Yes. This is one of the Yoyo3's standout features. The canopy and seat packs are interchangeable, so you can update the look without buying a new stroller. Babesta carries the full standard color range plus special edition collections.
Does it work with infant car seats?
Yes, with separately sold car seat adapters. Compatible brands available at Babesta include the Nuna Pipa series, Clek Liing, Cybex Aton series, Maxi-Cosi Mico series, and the BeSafe YOYO car seat. Ask our team for the right adapter for your specific car seat model.
Does it really fit in an airplane overhead bin?
It meets cabin baggage standards at its folded dimensions of 20.5″ x 17.3″ x 7.1″, making it one of the few strollers genuinely suitable for carry-on travel. That said, cabin luggage allowances vary by airline, so always confirm with your carrier before you fly.
Is it suitable for jogging?
No. The Yoyo3 is a city and travel stroller, not a jogging stroller. For jogging options, ask the Babesta team.
Is it a two-step fold?
Yes, folding the Yoyo3 technically takes two steps. The first step, however, is done with the child still in the seat: you fold the handlebar down first, then take the child out and close the stroller. The folding handlebar is also a useful feature on its own. If you're out at a café with baby, folding it down helps keep the stroller out of the way so a server doesn't knock into it.
Can I try it in person?
Yes. Come see us at Babesta Tribeca, 56 Warren Street. Our team can demonstrate the fold, show you the canopy swap system, and roll it on the pavement outside so you can feel the suspension for yourself. We also have a weighted test baby so you get the real feel of it loaded up.
Can I add this to my baby registry?
Yes. The Yoyo3 is a registry staple at Babesta. A Babesta registry comes with exclusive perks and services, and our team can advise on which Yoyo3 configuration and accessories best match your lifestyle.
