Moab 6 Drawer Assembled Dresser
Babesta Pick | Best for NYC Nurseries | Dresser + Changing Station in One
Nursery storage is one of those things that sounds simple and turns out to be complicated. You need enough drawers for a surprising amount of tiny clothing. You need to be able to open them quietly at 2am. And if you’re in a New York apartment, you need it to look good enough to live in a room that doubles as your home office or guest room.
The Moab 6-Drawer Dresser does all of that — and it arrives fully assembled, which matters more than people realize until they’re 36 weeks pregnant staring at a flat-pack box. The arched panels double as hidden drawer pulls, so the whole piece has a seamless, sculptural silhouette that holds up in design-conscious homes. Add the removable changing tray (sold separately) and it becomes a changing station for the first couple of years, then reverts to a clean dresser once you’re done.
It’s also GREENGUARD Gold certified and FSC® certified — two things new parents increasingly ask us about, and rightly so.

Yes — this is one of its standout features. No flat-pack, no hardware headaches. It ships assembled and is ready to use. |
|
Can it be used as a changing table? |
Yes — with the Moab Changing Tray (sold separately) placed on top. The 50 lb weight capacity on the surface supports this use. |
|
How many drawers does it have? |
Six — all with pre-installed ball-bearing glides and stop mechanisms to prevent them from pulling out completely. |
|
Is it GREENGUARD Gold certified? |
Yes — tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs. A meaningful certification for a piece going in a baby’s room. |
|
Is the wood sustainably sourced? |
Yes — the New Zealand pine frame is FSC® certified. The engineered wood components are TSCA compliant. |
|
Is it anti-tip safe? |
Yes — it exceeds CPSC ASTM F2057-23 tip-over standards, and an anti-tip kit is included in the box. |

Will the wood grain match other Moab pieces exactly? |
Not exactly — natural wood grain variation means each piece is slightly unique. This is a feature of the material, not a defect. |
|
Can I put this on my baby registry? |
Yes — the Moab Dresser is a popular registry item at Babesta, often paired with the Moab Crib and Changing Tray for a complete nursery. |
Babesta Pick — Why We Carry It
This dresser is gorgeous. The arched panel design is genuinely distinctive — it’s a piece that looks intentional in a thoughtfully designed room, not like it came from a big-box baby aisle. The ball-bearing drawers open and close quietly enough that we’ve heard from parents who use them at 3am without waking the baby. And the fact that it arrives fully assembled is a bigger deal than it sounds when you’re preparing a nursery under time pressure.
Pair it with the Moab Changing Tray for the newborn phase, then use it as a standalone dresser for years — including into a big kid’s room if you later pair it with the Moab Stair Loft Bed or Twin Bed. It’s a long-term investment in a piece that earns its keep.

A Note about Lead Times
Some furniture is handmade just for you by expert craftsmen. That being said -- good
things take time. Typical lead times are about 8-12 weeks from most workshops,
and white glove delivery can add between 2 weeks to the lead time, depending on
the distance the pieces are traveling. Lead times are estimates only. We quote
lead times to the best of our ability, but a number of unforeseen issues can
delay orders. Lead times are not guaranteed. Shipping times are not included in
estimated standard lead times.

Receiving & Inspecting Your White Glove or Curbside/Threshold Delivery
On the day you receive your furniture, it is important to remember to take the
time to inspect your delivery carefully. You are responsible for properly describing any and all damages on the shipper's waybill or delivery receipt. If
you don't note the damage, it gives us very limited recourse to assist you afterwards.
Our shippers go to great lengths to avoid damage, but it's possible it can occur. Please review the following guidelines to inspect your furniture while
the shipper is present:
-Whether your order has been specified for white glove delivery or curbside delivery, it is important to open all packaging and inspect every piece before signing the waybill/delivery receipt and the delivery team leaves your home.
-If your furniture has been boxed, inspect the boxes for damage. If the boxes show
any evidence of damage or heavy wear, note this on all copies of the shipper’s
waybill/delivery receipt. A damaged box could be a sign of hidden damage.
-If the delivery driver refuses to wait while you inspect the furniture, note on the waybill/delivery receipt, “driver refused to wait for inspection of
contents. Final inspection for damage will be made when packages are opened.”
-Document any issues or damage (no matter how minor) in detail on the shipper’s waybill
and ask the delivery driver to co-sign the waybill/receipt.
-Minor damage like a scratch or even replacement of a door or drawer, is best handled
through repairs which can easily be done at your home or performed by furniture
medics on behalf of the shipper.
-If the damage is substantial, refuse the item and have the shipper return it to the sender for repair or replacement
-If your shipment is missing any pieces call us immediately at 646 290 5508 and have the driver note the shortage on the waybill. Advise us of any missing
pieces and we will trace the shipment. If the missing items cannot be located within a reasonable time, the missing items will be re-ordered.
-If your shipment is missing any hardware call us immediately and have the driver note the missing hardware on the waybill. Hardware can be sent directly to your home.
***Not sure what to do?***
-If you need assistance with damage at the time of delivery, call us at 646 290 508.
-Email us digital photos of any damage so that we can best determine how to resolve
for you. Email photos to support@babesta.com
-If you do not inspect your furniture on arrival and do not note any damage on the
delivery receipt/waybill, we do not have recourse to assist you with repair or replacement. Please take the time to document any issues.
-If you sign the delivery slip without any written comments you are indicating that your delivery arrived in perfect condition
