Everymom's editors called it their most recent obsession, and we agree. The Bondi 6-Drawer Assembled Dresser by Babyletto brings a boho-inspired warmth to the nursery — warm wood tone, rounded posts, tonal vegan leather drawer pulls — that reads as considered and current without trying too hard. It's the kind of piece that makes a room feel like it was styled, not just furnished.
It arrives fully assembled. In a New York apartment where assembling furniture means negotiating with limited space, a 140-lb dresser that rolls off the delivery truck ready to use is not a minor convenience. Open the box, get it to the room, and it's done. Six smooth-glide drawers on pre-installed ball-bearing slides handle a full wardrobe's worth of onesies, folded sleepers, and everything else a baby accumulates faster than expected. The optional removable changing tray (sold separately) converts the top surface for the early months, then comes off clean when you're done.
Pairs directly with the Bondi Cane 3-in-1 Convertible Crib and the Bondi Boucle 4-in-1 Convertible for a cohesive nursery. GREENGUARD Gold certified, lead and phthalate safe, sustainably sourced New Zealand pine wood base. Anti-tip kit included.

Best For / Not Ideal For
Best For
• Families who want a dresser that arrives ready to use: fully assembled delivery saves the time, space, and frustration of flat-pack assembly in a Manhattan apartment
• Nurseries with a boho or warm-modern aesthetic — the vegan leather pulls, warm wood tone, and rounded posts give it a personality that distinguishes it from the clinical lines of more minimal dressers
• Parents building out the Bondi collection: pairs directly with the Bondi Cane 3-in-1 Crib and the Bondi Boucle 4-in-1 Crib for a fully coordinated room
• Those who want to use it as a changing station in the early years: the optional removable changing tray converts the top cleanly and removes when you're done
• Design-forward nurseries where the dresser is a room anchor — Everymom's editors named this their most recent obsession for a reason and we agree!
• Families prioritizing clean indoor air: GREENGUARD Gold certified, lead and phthalate safe finish
Not Ideal For
• Very narrow rooms: at 48"L × 19.25"W, confirm wall clearance before purchasing — and factor in door swing and access to all six drawers
• Buyers expecting a changing tray included: the removable changing tray (#M0619) is sold separately
• Those who prefer a dresser without drawer pulls: the vegan leather pulls are a design feature of the Bondi and cannot be removed

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it really arrive fully assembled?
Yes. The Bondi ships fully assembled — no tools, no hardware, no instruction booklet. Open the box, get it to your room, and it's ready to use. For a 140-lb dresser in an NYC apartment, that matters.
Can I use it as a changing table?
Yes, with the optional removable changing tray (sold separately, item #M0619). It sits on the top surface for the early years and removes cleanly when you no longer need it, leaving the dresser intact.
Are the drawer pulls actually vegan leather?
Yes. The tonal vegan leather drawer pulls are a design signature of the Bondi — they match the warm wood finish and give the dresser a tactile richness that standard hardware doesn't. They're part of what makes the Bondi feel elevated rather than generic.
How do the drawers work? Are they quiet?
All six drawers use pre-installed ball-bearing glides — smooth, quiet, and operable during nap time without risk of waking a sleeping baby. Stop mechanisms prevent the drawers from being pulled fully out and falling.
Is it anti-tip certified? Does an anti-tip kit come included?
Yes and yes. The Bondi exceeds the CPSC's ASTM F2057-23 voluntary standard for dresser tip-over safety, with drawer extensions specifically constructed to reduce tip-over risk. An anti-tip wall-anchoring kit is included in the box and should be installed.
Which Bondi cribs does it pair with?
The Bondi 6-Drawer Dresser is designed to pair with the Bondi Cane 3-in-1 Convertible Crib and the Bondi Boucle 4-in-1 Convertible Crib. Both share the warm tonal finish and boho-inspired aesthetic of the dresser. Ask us about completing the full Bondi collection.
Is it GREENGUARD Gold certified?
Yes. Tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs. For furniture going into a room where a baby sleeps, that certification matters — it means the indoor air quality meets one of the most rigorous standards available.
Can I see it in person at Babesta?
Floor inventory changes frequently. Contact our Tribeca store at 56 Warren Street for the most current information on what's on display.
Why Babesta Carries It
The Bondi dresser solves two problems at once: it looks genuinely interesting, and it arrives ready to use. Most nursery dressers offer one or the other. The vegan leather pulls and warm wood tone give it a boho warmth that the editors at Everymom noticed — and that reads well in the kinds of design-forward nurseries we see our city clients building.
The fully assembled delivery is worth stating plainly: for families in Manhattan walk-ups, co-ops with narrow hallways, or any apartment where furniture assembly is a logistical problem rather than a weekend project, a 140-lb dresser that arrives ready to use is a meaningful differentiator. We've seen too many flats arrive damaged or half-assembled. The Bondi sidesteps the whole problem.
The Bondi Cane crib and Bondi Boucle crib are the natural collection partners — same warm finish, same design language, same aesthetic sensibility. For a family who wants to walk into their nursery and feel like the room was actually thought about, the full Bondi setup delivers that.

A Note about Lead Times
Some furniture is handmade just for you by expert craftsmen. That being said -- good
things take time. Typical lead times are about 8-12 weeks from most workshops,
and white glove delivery can add between 2 weeks to the lead time, depending on
the distance the pieces are traveling. Lead times are estimates only. We quote
lead times to the best of our ability, but a number of unforeseen issues can
delay orders. Lead times are not guaranteed. Shipping times are not included in
estimated standard lead times.

Receiving & Inspecting Your White Glove or Curbside/Threshold Delivery
On the day you receive your furniture, it is important to remember to take the
time to inspect your delivery carefully. You are responsible for properly describing any and all damages on the shipper's waybill or delivery receipt. If
you don't note the damage, it gives us very limited recourse to assist you afterwards.
Our shippers go to great lengths to avoid damage, but it's possible it can occur. Please review the following guidelines to inspect your furniture while
the shipper is present:
-Whether your order has been specified for white glove delivery or curbside delivery, it is important to open all packaging and inspect every piece before signing the waybill/delivery receipt and the delivery team leaves your home.
-If your furniture has been boxed, inspect the boxes for damage. If the boxes show
any evidence of damage or heavy wear, note this on all copies of the shipper’s
waybill/delivery receipt. A damaged box could be a sign of hidden damage.
-If the delivery driver refuses to wait while you inspect the furniture, note on the waybill/delivery receipt, “driver refused to wait for inspection of
contents. Final inspection for damage will be made when packages are opened.”
-Document any issues or damage (no matter how minor) in detail on the shipper’s waybill
and ask the delivery driver to co-sign the waybill/receipt.
-Minor damage like a scratch or even replacement of a door or drawer, is best handled
through repairs which can easily be done at your home or performed by furniture
medics on behalf of the shipper.
-If the damage is substantial, refuse the item and have the shipper return it to the sender for repair or replacement
-If your shipment is missing any pieces call us immediately at 646 290 5508 and have the driver note the shortage on the waybill. Advise us of any missing
pieces and we will trace the shipment. If the missing items cannot be located within a reasonable time, the missing items will be re-ordered.
-If your shipment is missing any hardware call us immediately and have the driver note the missing hardware on the waybill. Hardware can be sent directly to your home.
***Not sure what to do?***
-If you need assistance with damage at the time of delivery, call us at 646 290 508.
-Email us digital photos of any damage so that we can best determine how to resolve
for you. Email photos to support@babesta.com
-If you do not inspect your furniture on arrival and do not note any damage on the
delivery receipt/waybill, we do not have recourse to assist you with repair or replacement. Please take the time to document any issues.
-If you sign the delivery slip without any written comments you are indicating that your delivery arrived in perfect condition
