A Close Look At The UppaBaby V3 Features

Our heads are still spinning with all of the excitement around the UppaBaby’s newest ride, and we’ve already given you our first look hot take. Now it’s time to dive into the new UppaBaby V3 features. 

From an updated aesthetic to a better push, there are lots of ways UppaBaby has upped the ante with this new ride, making it an even better choice for discerning city parents who stroll all day long. Let’s take a look!

UppaBaby V3 Stroller Features: Aesthetics

First of all, let’s talk about aesthetics.

The UppaBaby V3 features new colors, a new updated frame and even new leather detailing. 

New Fabrics

There are a bunch of old faves, including Jake, Greyson, Gwen, Theo and Declan but now they’re joined with newbies Callum (a lovely blue), Kenzi (a greenish blue with speckles), and Savannah (a white-grey with speckles).  

New Frame

The frame comes in both silver and carbon as it always has, and the frames go with particular colors. What’s new is that the folks at UppaBaby have made it even sleeker.

You’ll notice the new logo that’s emblazoned on the side (we dig the new font) as well as the high shine part where the stroller adjusts. It has an overall look that is more refined and beautiful than ever. 

Full Grain REACH Certified Leather Details

Another update with the UppaBaby V3 stroller aesthetic is that the leather is now a full grain REACH certified.

Besides looking great, the new UppaBaby V3 really delivers. Whereas none of the updates are earth-shattering on their own, in sum, they elevate the stroller to the next-level.  

Enhanced Breathability With All-Weather Comfort Seat

Breathability is the word of the year when it comes to everything baby. Strollers are no exception. One of biggest changes as to UppaBaby V3 features is the enhanced breathability in the seat. 

You’ll notice the seat has a cover that gives your littler riders a more comfy and snug feel, but then as they grow (and in the summer)  you can take the seat pad out and feel the breeze with the mesh back.

FlexRide Strolling Suspension

The next UppaBaby V3 feature that is wowing us here at Babesta, is the new FlexRide Strolling Suspension. We don’t have a great handle on the technical aspects of this, but let us tell you the push is divine. It’s as light as a feather and the stroller is super responsive, easy to navigate. Quick-To-Secure Harness System

No more mussing and fussing with straps! Another great new UppaBaby V3 stroller feature is its new harness system. It’s magnetic which makes it super easy to get your little bub secured in the stroller in a snap! 

GreenGuard Gold Certified

Covering all bases with the new Vista V3, UppaBaby has made sure the new ride is GreenGUARD Gold certified. This means the stroller has been scientifically tested to have low chemical emissions, contributing to a healthier indoor air quality. This means you and baby can breathe easy!

Price And How It’s Sold

Here’s an obvious one: the new UppaBaby V3 is sold a bit differently than before. Now, you purchase the stroller and bassinet separately. If you don’t buy the bassinet (though we recommend it strongly), you can get the infant insert when using it for your littlest rider. 

Foam-Free Air Mesh Mattress In Bassinet 

Speaking of the bassinet, the new bassinet has a foam free mesh mattress, making it even safer and more comfy than before. 

Greater Ventilation With Bassinet

Sticking with greater breathability, the bassinet also features greater ventilation with more mesh panels to allow maximum airflow. As babies don’t thermoregulate on their own, this increased airflow is a welcome new feature!

Reflective Trims on Wheels and Basket

If you have to go out at night, the new V3 features reflective trims to keep you safe.

Direct Car Seat Attachment With UppaBaby Car Seats

As with the V2, the V3 allows for a direct car seat attachment with UppaBaby car seats, namely the Mesa V2 and the Aria. This makes travel as easy as pie!

Car Seat Compatibility With Other Car Seats

If you’re more of a Liing, Cloud G Lux, Turtle Air Shield by Nuna car seat family — three of most cross-compatible models — then you’ll be happy to know that the V3 still works with these seats so long as you get a car seat adapter. 

Why would you do this? If your lightweight stroller choice is the Coya by Cybex, Bugaboo Butterfly, Joolz Aire, or Silver Cross Jet 5, we’d suggest going the adapter route, as you’ll want a car seat ideally that can work with both your V3 and your lightweight stroller. This means every time you travel you give yourself choice!

Easy One Step Standing Fold

We’re always asked how a stroller folds, as this can be important — especially as you’re getting in and out of cabs or Ubers, or if you want to place your stroller in a closet or make it more compact in the doorway. 

The UppaBaby V3 folds just like the V2. Pull the two little tabs on the sides and voila. And it stands on it’s own which makes it easy to pick up when needed. No bending required!

Countless Configurations For One, Two, And Three Children

Of course one of the big beauties of the UppaBaby Vista stroller is that it accommodates not only one child but with an extra couple pieces can accommodate two in the footprint of a single. And, even better, the RumbleSeat that in the past only allowed for 35 lbs, now allows for 40 lbs of kid! For city folks, this is a dream, as you don’t have to be too wide or too bulky. 

With the addition of the PiggyBack you can even have a third standing! All said and done, there are over 30 configurations!

XL Basket With 30lb Weight Limit

Of course, the underseat basket on the Vista V3 is roomy as can be allowing for 30lbs of extras to ride underneath. We normally see that in the form of a big bag of Whole Foods or a very happy pooch who loves to be part of the growing family!

Extendable Water repellant UPF 50+ canopy

The canopy extends so that baby can get a snooze on the go. You can even peek through the breezy window to check on your sweetie.

One Hand Adjustable Handlebar

It takes a village. If that village is tag teaming with the stroller, the one-hand adjustable handlebar will come in handy. Extend it all the way out if you are taller, or bring it back in if you are shorter. There’s always a comfy position to stroll!

Front Wheel Locks

Pushing through snow or sand or taking a jog? You can lock the front wheels with the push of a button. 

One Handed Multi Position Recline

If your little one wants to snooze on the go, just recline them back. Baby can be facing you or out to the world at any time!
